My diploma work is ready!

Tässä pieni kurkkaus lopputyöhöni! Se on viimeinkin valmis!! Ompelin roolipuvun vuodelta 1936, jota Ansa Ikonen käytti elokuvassa "Vaimoke". Huomenna meillä on loppuseminaari, missä esittelemme muille opinnäytetyömme.

Toivottakaa onnea!

(Translation: Here's a sneak peek of my diploma work!! It is finally ready! I sewed a role costume from 1936, worn by finnish film star Ansa Ikonen in "Vaimoke". Black velvet evening gown, original was made by Atelier Hjördis Melén from Helsinki. It's so pretty, almost like the original Ansa's gown, and I am so happy that all the hard work is now behind. Tomorrow is a seminary where we show what we have done as a final work. I am quite nervous! After the seminary there's still two months left school, we have a course where we sew wool coats. And then...  I am graduating !

Wish me luck!)
