Nightless night.

(translation: We celebrated Midsummer's eve in the park, drinking and having a laugh, and the weather was really beautiful. The night was nightless, I don't think the sun went down at all. We went to watch the bonfire and then ended up singing karaoke.

On Midsummer's day we decided to continue our celebrating. We started the evening sitting outside, behind the church, and then we went to the nightclub, and danced a lot. We had a nice weekend, but nothing beats Midsummer 2012!)

Otin isosiskosta varmaan kymmeniä kuvia, kukkaistyttö!
(I took plenty of photos of my big sister, she was such a flower girl!)

  2. Lovely photos! What a great way to celebrate midsummer. Alas I think it's the end of Summer here in the UK already, it's raining and colder!!

  4. There is something to immensely intriguing about celebrating a night where the sun never completely sets. That happens here in Canada in the northernmost parts of the country (up in the arctic), but the bulk of the country still sees the sun set during the summer months, so I've never experienced a nightless night yet. Hopefully one day - just think of the extra hours of photo shooting time it would provide! :)
