SEWING : Inspired by Peggy Olson from Mad Men ❤

Olen katsellut Mad Meniä viime päivät, ja en voinut olla erityisesti huomaamatta yhdessä jaksossa Peggyn ruudullista kotelomekkoa. Muistin nimittäin, että olin löytänyt kirpputorilta ompeluun sopivan ruudullisen pussilakanan. Tänään sain vihdoinkin sitten aikaiseksi ommella samanlainen mekko omaa vaatekaappiani koristamaan. Kuosittelu peruskaavasta oli tosi helppo toteuttaa, vaikka vähän piti ottaa sisään sieltä ja tuolta. Olen kyllä todella tyytyväinen tähän mekkoon!

(Translation: I've been watching Mad Men season 3 for few days now, and I fell completely in love with Peggy's plaid pencil dress. I remembered I had some plaid fabric so I decided to sew something similar. Modifying this dress out of my basic pattern was quite easy to do. I am very pleased with the dress!)

  1. Tulipa siitä nätti! Ja ihan vain pussilakanasta. Täytyypä olla entistäkin tarkempi kirppiksellä :)

  19. I like how you are sewing your own clothes. No one else on Lookbook is doing it as far as I know. I am thinking of doing the same thing, and am currently sewing a flannel shirt (with help of my teacher) and sweat pants (on my own). I am just learning how to sew (or actually I call it tailoring since I am a guy). I want to make my own clothes.

    Your blog is inspiring.
