Fascinating Tallinn.

wanhaan kaupunkiin. Kaikki ne rakennukset, yksityiskohtat ja mukulakivikadut..
Ihastuin. Tuonne on päästävä toistekin! Vaikka laivamatka itsessään ei ollut todellakaan mikään
ihana.
Vanha kaupunki minua eniten kiehtoi!

Suosittelen kaikkia ehdottomasti tutustumaan Tallinnan keskiaikaisiin nähtävyyksiin,
oli suurenmoinen kokemus.

(Translation: Here's my last Helsinki/Tallinna -post.
I went to Tallinn one week ago with my sister, during my trip in Helsinki. Old town was very
beautiful to see. All those medieval buildings, details and streets.. Admirable! I want to go
there again. Even though I didn't like cruising. It's quite typical that some Finnish go
to Tallinn, just to get cheap booze. Most of them didn't even go any
further from the harbour. Okay I did buy one bottle (and it wasn't even cheaper), but it wasn't
my only reason to visit Tallinn. It was the Old town that fascinated me!

I highly recommend you to visit Estonia's capital, and you rly must see the medieval part
of Tallinn. What an experience!)

Tallinn

Näytin mummelilta Tallinnan mukulakivikaduilla. Siellä satoi koko päivän,
joten piti jotenkin suojata hiukset.. Vaikka huivi olikin "reikäinen" :D
(I looked like a granny while walking the streets of Tallinn. It was raining
all the time, so I needed to cover up my hair.. Even though this scarf didn't
keep the water very well.. :D)

Iiri pubi :D

  1. Tallinna! Paljon tuttuja paikkoja kuvissa.

I've just started my own blog, with a halloween post featuring an 18th century hand sewn provencal cape and a ballgown made by my granny who was a couturier in London in the 1930s. Do have a look if you get the time and let me know what you think: http://kikiandthegypsy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/into-woods-halloween-2012.html
