Katsoin eilen Williamin ja Katen häät kokonaisuudessaan.

Tulihan siinä pari kertaa liikutuksen kyyneleitä, ja tietysti Katen

hääpuku oli sanoinkuvaamattoman kaunis!

Todellakin Grace Kellymäinen hääpuku, tuo pitsi on kaunista

ja kivan yksinkertainen. 

Tietysti myös prinssi Williamin ja prinssi Harryn uniformut

olivat todella komea näky..

Niin kauniit häät!

(Translation: I watched The Royal Wedding yesterday enterily.

It was touching and I shed a tear couple of times, and of course

Kates wedding gown was absolutely gorgeous!

It WAS very Grace Kelly, that lace is pretty and the gown

was nicely simple.

And of course, prince William and prince Harrys uniforms

were a handsome sight...

Ja kaikki juhlavieraiden hatut ja hiuskoristeet olivat uskomattomia!

Positiivisella tavalla, tietysti. Olen aina ihannoinut

tätä brittien "hattumuotia", se on niin erikoista, hienoa!

(And all the hats and hair decorations were unbelievable!

In positive way, of course. I've always admired

british "hat fashion", it's so unique, awesome!)

 Tietysti halusin itsekin pukeutua häiden kunniaksi

vähän hienommin kuin oli tarkoitus.

Ei sitä viitsinyt häähumussa pukeutua pelkkään aamutakkiin..:D

(Of course I wanted to dress up myself nicer,

and not wear only bathrobe..:D)

I miss our camera.

Ikävä kameraa.

Joudun kitumaan tuolla puhelimen kameralla,

kun ne paremmat yksilöt ovat maailmalla napsimassa kuvia

upeammista näkymistä. On se harmillista, nyt kun olisi paljon

kuvattavaa niin joudun ikuistamaan kaiken huonolaatuisiksi otoksiksi.

No, ehkä tämä nyt välttää seuraavaksi pariksi viikoksi, ei se niin paha ole.

Ja enhän minä halua pitää parin viikon taukoa blogaamisesta.

Se olisi vaikeaa!

Siivosin huoneeni pitkästä aikaa. Se näyttää nyt

ihan pieneltä vintage/antiikki -putiikilta. Vielä enemmän

kuin aiemmin!

(Translation: I miss the camera.

I have to manage with my mobilephone's camera now,

because better ones are travelling around the world.

It's a shame, because I have so much things to photoshoot here

in Finland, especially the nature. Well, maybe I can survive

these two weeks without better camera.. it's not that bad..

And I don't want to keep two weeks break from blogging.

It would be difficult!

I cleaned my room for a long time.

It looks like a little vintage/antique boutique right now,

even more than it looked before!)

 Tämän upean kaulakorun sain ystävältäni ilmaiseksi,

en voi uskoa! Tällaista nimittäin olen etsinyt, mustan meinasin tilata mutta

halusin juuri vaalean. Ja sopivasti sainkin ilmaiseksi! :D

(This gorgeous necklace I got from my friend for free, I can't believe it!

I've been looking for this kind of one, I almost ordered

a black version but I wanted the white, or beige. And now I got one, without

paying!)

Ehdottomasti yksi ihastuttavimmista taloista kotikaupungissani.

Se on kai autio, ja se aiotaan kuulemma purkaa kerrostalon takia... Mikä vääryys!

(Definitely one of the most adorable houses in my hometown.

It's abandoned, and I heard it is going to be deconstructed because of the apartment

building... It is so wrong!)

Blue shirt for a blue day.

Ihana päivä.

Aurinko paistaa, ja vain yksi pilvenrepale näkyy taivaalla.

Ainakin yli 20 astetta lämmintä ulkona tällä hetkellä.

Koska olin viikonlopun huitelemassa poikakaverin kanssa,

en kotona paljoa käynyt. Olipa jännä nähdä, että tuona aikana oli lumi sulanut 

miltei kokonaan takapihalta pois :D

Vaikka täällä Suomessa ei kukat kuki ja puut ole vielä edes

vihreitä, niin kuin muualla maailmalla kevään heti tullessa,

silti tuntuu ihan keväältä. Kevään tuntu tulee heti kun sää lämpenee ja

maa on lumen sulamisesta ihan loskainen. Ja kesä mielestäni nimittäin tänne tulee silloin

kun kaikki viherkasvusto herää.

Ostin tuon vaaleansinisen kauluspaidan Lionsin

kirpputorilta. Tunnen itseni ihan 50-luvun tarjoilijattareksi.

 Vaikka eräät jo ehtivätkin pilkata minua lentoemoksi,

silti tykkään tuosta paidasta todella paljon! Ja mielestäni se on

enemmän tarjoilijan kuin lentoemännän.

En varmaan pääse päivittelemään viikkoihin asukuvia,

sillä isosiskoni Laura lähtee Thaimaaseen ja hän tarvitsee kameraa.

Jos hän nyt sen edes mukaansa ottaa... Ja minä toivon ettei :D

(Translation: Lovely day. Sun is shining and there's only one

cloud fleeing on the sky. At least +20 degrees outside.

Because I wasn't at home last weekend, it was weird to notice

that snow had gone from our backyard during that time :D

Though here in Finland flowers aren't blooming and trees

aren't green already, like in other countries,

I still feel like spring. I think spring is when snow starts to melt and 

weather gets warmer. And summer comes when all the plants
are waking up.

I bought that baby blue blouse from Lions flea market.

I feel myself like a 50's waitress. Though somebody already

mocked that I am a stewardess, I still like the shirt so much! And

I think it has more a waitress vibe than stewardess.

I propably can't write any outfitposts for next weeks,

because my big sis Laura is going to Thailand and she needs a camera.

If she decides takes our camera with her.. And I hope NOT :D)

(So, received the Versatile Blogger Award from lovely Emma of Ol' Green Eyes,

and like I said, I am very honoured! Thank you! The task was to write 7 facts about myself,

but most likely I am gonna write about 7 things I like a lot. :)

So here we go!)

1. Hatut, Hats

Rakastan hattuja. Olivat ne sitten olki, huopa tai virkattuja.

Sohvallani on pinoittain tällä hetkellä kolmisenkymmentä hattua,

niille ei vain ole paikkaa. Unelmani olisi saada oma komero hatuilleni.

Minulle hattu on tärkeä asuste. Joskus jopa saatan luoda

hatun ympärille koko asun! Eniten pidän olkihatuista.

(I love hats, no matter where they straw, felt or crochet.

There's about 30 hats pile on my couch right now,

I don't have no place to put them. My dream would be

an own closet to my hats. To me, hat is an important accessory.

Sometimes I even create the whole outfit around the hat! Mostly I love straw ones.)

2. Edwardiaaninen aika, Edwardian era

Upea aikakausi, jonka muotia rakastan!

Olen itse kokeillut muutaman kerran luoda kirpparivaatteista oman versioni

Edwardiaanisesta tyylistä, ehkä kerran onnistunut.

Ehkä romanttisin aikakausi koskaan.

(Amazing era, I love its fashion so much!

I've been trying to create my own version of edwardian costume using

ordinary shoppings from flea markets. I think I succeeded quite well, according

to what kind of (modern) clothes I wore. Edwardian era is maybe the 

most romantic ever.)

3. Irlanti, Ireland

Irlanti on ollut jo kauan haaveissa. En ole vieläkään

päässyt Irlannissa käymään, mutta toivon, että vielä jonain päivänä

näen tuollaisen kauniin näkymän omin silmin.

Rakastan irlantilaista kulttuuria, musiikkia ja historiaa.

Siinä on jotain kiehtovaa.

(I've been dreaming of Ireland since I first heard

the irish folk music few years ago. I Haven't got a chance

to visit Ireland yet, but I hope that one day I will see this

beautiful view with my own eyes.

I love irish culture, folk music and history. It's fascinating.)

4. Romantiikka, Romanticism

Vielä pari vuotta sitten sana "romantiikka" ällötti minua.

Mielipide on tässä ajan kuluessa muuttunut, ja nyt olen

itse juuri sellainen romantikko, joita aiemmin en voinut sietää!

Rakastan romanttisia asioita ja perinteitä, tai joku voisi käyttää ehkä sanaa klisee.

Ruusut, suklaa, kynttilät ja muutenkin ihanat romanttiset pukudraamat

ovat kauneimpia asioita mitä tiedän. Ehkä myös Sen Oikean löytyminen

on myös vaikuttanut mielipiteeni muuttumiseen myönteiseksi.. :)

(Couple of years ago the word "romanticism" disgusted me.

My opinion has chanced, and now I am one devoted romanticist!

I love romantic things and traditions, or some would propably say clichés.

Roses, chocolate, candles and lovely romantic costume dramas are the most

beautiful things I know. And maybe finding the Right One affected too, changing

my opinion about romanticism..:)

5. Kesäillat ystävien kanssa, Summerevenings with my friends

Rakastan viettää kesäiltoja kavereiden kanssa,

kylillä tai jonkun luona. Ilta menee aina jutellen, syöden, juoden

ja joskus sitä tuli ainakin viime kesänä ajeltua ympäri kaupunkia.

Odotan samaa ensi kesältäkin!

(I love to hang out with my friends on summer evenings,

on the town or someone's place. Time flies while chatting,

eating, drinking and sometimes we drove around the town.

I can't wait for the next summer!)

6. Syksy, Autumn

Syksy on ehkä lempi vuodenaikani. Vaikka odotankin aina vähän

jokaista vuodenaikaa, tai no talvea kauhulla, silti syksy on se rakkain.

Silloin puut ovat kauneimmillaan, ja lehdet kadulla ovat upea näky.

Ja se inspiroi!

(Autumn is my favourite season of the year. Even though

I wait for every season, well, winter with horror, still the autumn

is the most precious. The trees are beautiful, and leaves on the streets is

a beautiful view. It inspires!)

7. Ahoy, sailor!

Merihenkiset vaatteet ja asusteet ovat aivan ihania!

Koska olen pikkutytöstä asti ihastellut merta, purjelaivoja ja

ankkureita, on tämän kesän tärkein tavoitteeni etsiä itselleni

täydellinen sailorette mekko.

(Sailor clothes and accessorier are absolutely adorable!

Because I've been loving the sea, sailing ships and anchors 

since I was a little girl, next summer the most important goal will be

finding a perfect sailorette dress.)
