Grilling.

My mom made some crepes and grilled for me and my big sis Laura, and now I am so full of food! I have ate a lot today. And I still have a pack of chips waiting in my room: I and Laura have a movienight this evening, we are going to watch a horror/comedy movie  Zombieland. I love zombiemovies, especially if they are veery scary ones, but humour isn't minus either - if you know Shaun of the Dead, you know what I mean.

And this friday is a celebration day of our movietheater Kino Hannikainen, it's been 100 years since our theater showed its first movie to the audience. Because of that great event, Kino Hannikainen shows an old finnish movie, Laulu tulipunaisesta kukasta (1938) directed by amazing Teuvo Tulio. I have never seen an old movie from silver screen, so it is going to be a very special moment! I will - of course - dress up to my vintage/vintage inspired clothes, so I can imagine that I am a girl living in a world, before the World War II (:

And this saturday I will have "a grape party" in my house with my friends (It is actually a grill party, but by accident I talked to my friend about grape instead of grill, so ... :) It is gonna be lots of fun I believe!

What a Midsummer. And I saw Kake the Mighty, yay :D

I forgot to take pictures on Midsummer's Eve, two days ago. It was fun evening. Awesome friends and those awesomely retarded (funny) things we talked about. I got bitten... by mosquitoes.. a lot.

And I didn't feel great yesterday morning, I was like a zombie. But in the evening I felt better. I went to see marvellous Kake Randelin with couple of friends, he performed in Kajasteen lava, in Nurmes. And oh boy he was so great!

He sings schlager ("iskelmä") and he was very popular in the 80's. And I think he still is, of course, because he is Kake the Mighty! Hah, I felt myself like "a fangirl", when I saw him coming to the stage and especially when he sang a song "Nasta pimu"! And I even got few eyewinks from him, and again I was like melting ice.

I am sorry I don't have anything else to say to you about my Midsummer's Eve. And no photos as I promised.

I should go and concentrate on my school works. School works on summer holidays.. very fair.

Partying all summer :D

Midsummer's Eve, Juhannus aatto, is on Friday, and I can't wait! Me and my friends are celebrating Midsummer at my best friend's Marika's home, grilling and chatting and then we will head to Bomba, perhaps to watch great Midsummer bonfire and meet other people. It is gonna be great Midsummer, the best of all!

I had an amazing weekend. I am so happy that I have so amazing friends. On Friday we had a party in a summer cottage to a fabulous girl Emmi, who spent a year in South-Africa as an exchange student. God, I missed her so much!! When I saw her first time after her arrival back to Nurmes, I couldn't say anything, I just cried. :) We really had great time.

And next month I will be heading to Joensuu with Marika and go to Ilosaari rock, Sulo-Klubi, where's great and famous finnish artists, such as Chisu, Mariska and Herra Ylppö & Ihmiset! And finnish rap-artist Asa is coming for a gig to Nurmes, so I will definitely go to see him. He's very talented.

I feel like dancing - in a floral field.

I really need to dance right now. I am listening my vinyl, full of 80's hit music, and those songs make me want to dance. I need a party with lots of friends and good drinks and snacks. Well, luckily my gooood friend Emmi just came from South-Africa (she spent a year as an exchange student!), and we will organise a good party to her. Welcome home my friend, I missed you <3

This was great find! These all Jane Austens books (Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility), €1 per book! So only €4, so cheap! And these are in english. :) And by the way, these contains 100% recycled paper!

New finds!

I did some finds today from Kristalli and Löytökulma!

I couldn't resist buying this straw hat with scottich check ribbon. From Löytökulma, €4,5. Yes, I am crazy about straw hats and everything where's scottish check print, so I dropped my eyes and then my whole face when I saw this hanging on the wall :D

And finally I found white gloves! I had never seen before these kind of gloves in Kristalli so I was very amazed when I saw this pretty pair there :D I have been looking for white gloves for a while but they have always been too expensive to me.. So now I am happy, this pair costed only €2!

Oh and yes, the last spring fete in Lehtovaaras elementary school was very moving on 5th june. I cried all the time, immediately I felt some tears in my eyes when I walked inside the school building. I have so many great memories and I got so many amazing friends that I will never forget that school.

After that spring fete I had enough time to go to my own school's springfete, so I wasn't late from there. Later we celebrated our first evening of summer holidays and we had so much fun with my best friend Marika and some random pals :D

Next spring fete will be very moving and I will cry my face off, because my class will have our graduation cap and we have to say good-byes to the classmates, the teachers and the school building..

Right now I am a bit sick, and I have to read history. I have an exam on monday. Yes, exams on summer holidays.. Harsh. :D

1. What never fails to cheer you up?

My best friends. When I am upset, they never fail to cheer me up and make me see the situation more positive. And other thing is good party with good dancemusic :D And of course when I make good finds from second hand shop Kristalli!

2. If you could live one day of your life over again, what would it be?

I think there's one day I'd love to live again and change things. But then again, there are some amazing moments with my friends I will never forget..

3. What do you like best about yourself?

I am not very good at saying good things about myself :D But I think it's good that I am not scared to be myself. I wear what I want and say my opinions, and if I don't like someone, I express it clearly. Although there's only few persons I don't like.. And if I like someone, I express it clearly too. I just don't want to stay at home and only dream..

4. What would you change about yourself?

Haha, I don't know :D Well, I don't like to wear glasses, so I am getting contact lenses this summer. I don't think there's many things I'd like to change about myself. I wonder is it good thing.

5. What have you enjoyed best about blogging?

Getting new friends, sharing my inspirations and also getting new inspirations :D I love finding new blogs where I see amazing styles and clothings.

6. Who/what is your ultimate source of inspiration?

Aw, there is so many! All bloggers I follow :D and some old movies too!

7. If you could be anywhere in the world by now, where would you be?

Perhaps in Ireland with my best friends. I love everything about Ireland and it is my dream that I'd have a chance to visit those beautiful highlands.

8. Who would you invite to your ideal dinner party?

Of course my best friends :) Tervetuloa greippijuhliin ;)

I bought new blouse day before yesterday, it is so romantic and cute. I bought it from Kristalli and it costed only €2! (!!)

And I will take plenty of photos tomorrow of my dear former elementary school, before its "funeral" ...
